Quick tour

Follow these steps to see each button in action. The icon shown in brackets is how the button looks on screen.

  1. Click the Analytics icon in the left menu to open the list of analytics dashboards. Each dashboard answers a different operational question.

  2. Click a dashboard name, such as Port Days Laytime, in the Analytics menu to open it. Every analytics dashboard opens the same way.

  3. Click the Trend tab to see the dashboard's figures over time. Analytics dashboards use tabs like this to show the same data in different views.

  4. Click a filter dropdown [▾], such as Cargo, to narrow any analytics dashboard to the values you want. Tick the values in the list, then click Apply.

  5. Click the drill up arrow [↑] on any time-based chart to go back one level, for example from quarters to years. The chart redraws at the higher level.

  6. Click the double-down arrow [⇊] on any time-based chart to drill down one level, for example from years to quarters. Use it to spot seasonal patterns.

  7. Click the expand-all icon [⇟] on any time-based chart to drill all the way down to the finest level, such as months. Use it to see the detail behind a trend.

  8. Click the download icon [⤓] on any chart or table to export its data to CSV. Use the file to analyse the numbers in a spreadsheet.

  9. Click the Smart Insights sparkle icon [✦] on any chart to generate AI insights for it. A panel then summarises the data in plain words.

  10. Click the X [✕] to close the Smart Insights panel. You return to the chart and can keep exploring.

  11. Click the expand icon [⤢] on any chart or table, in any analytics dashboard, to open it full screen. A bigger view makes small bars and labels easier to read.

  12. Click the X [✕] to close the full-screen view of any chart or table. You return to the dashboard.

  13. Click a breakdown tab, such as Port Wise, to compare the figures by that dimension. Other analytics dashboards have tabs that break their data down in the same way.

  14. Click the Trend tab to go back to the figures over time. Use it on any analytics dashboard to see how the data changes.

  15. Click Apply to refresh any analytics dashboard with the filters you chose. The cards and charts update to match.

  16. Click Clear All to remove every filter on the dashboard. You see the full data set again.

  17. Click the Analytics icon in the left menu to switch to another dashboard.

  18. Click any dashboard name, such as Operational Issue, to switch to it. Each dashboard answers a different operational question.

  19. Click the plus button [+] on any analytics map to zoom in. Zooming in separates bubbles that sit close together.

  20. Click the minus button [−] on any analytics map to zoom out. You see the whole map again.

  21. Click a bubble [●] on any analytics map to see the details behind that location. A small panel shows the breakdown.

  22. Click another bubble [●] to compare a different location. Zoom in first if bubbles overlap.

  23. Click Ask AI on any analytics dashboard to ask questions about your data and get instant answers.

  24. Click the X [✕] to close the Ask AI panel. You return to the dashboard.
