Credit Risk shows how much charterers owe you, how quickly they pay, and how long your own invoices take to approve and post. Use it to spot slow payers and delayed invoices early. Watch the interactive guide above for a click-by-click walkthrough.
At a glance
Where to find it: Analytics > Credit Risk in the left menu.
Who it is for: Finance and commercial teams who monitor receivables and charterer payments.
It answers: How much is owed to us, and by whom? How quickly do charterers pay? How long do our invoices take to approve and post?
Access: Enabled per company. If you do not see it in the Analytics menu, contact your GeoServe account manager.
Quick tour
Follow these four steps to get started.
Click Analytics in the left menu, then click Credit Risk.
Read the headline figures at the top of the page (see Key figures below).
Open each tab to go deeper (see The four tabs below).
Narrow the results with the filter bar at the top, if you need to.

Filters
Use the filter bar at the top to narrow every tab to what you need.
Who: Charterer Group > Charterer, Company, Ops Coordinator.
What: Vessel > Voyage, Voyage Status, Invoice Type > Category, Payment Status, Credit Category.
When: Voyage Complete Date or Paid Date. On Credit Exposure you can also filter by Days Since Voyage Complete.
A few things to know about how filters behave:
No Apply button: Filters apply when you close a dropdown, press Enter, or pause for about 1.5 seconds.
Clear All: Click it to go back to the default view.
Shared across tabs: Most filters carry over, so you choose once and switch tabs.
Closed voyages: Credit Exposure always leaves out closed and cancelled voyages.
Tips
Find slow payers: Start with Payment Performance to see which charterers are slowest to pay.
See where the money sits: Use Credit Exposure to see who owes you the most.
Fix your own delays: Use Internal Invoice Cycle to find where your invoices wait the longest.
Export your view: Most tables have an Export button that downloads an Excel file with your current filters applied.
FAQ
I cannot see Credit Risk in the Analytics menu. Why?
Dashboards are enabled per company. Contact your GeoServe account manager to ask about adding it.
Where is the Apply button?
There is none. Filters apply automatically when you close a dropdown, press Enter, or pause for about 1.5 seconds.
Why is a selected filter item greyed out at the top of the list?
It is still selected, but it has no data under your other filters. Click the × next to it to remove it, or change the other filters.
Why are some voyages missing from Credit Exposure?
Credit Exposure always excludes closed and cancelled voyages.
